6. it was an ignorant question and an in-the-moment response. For sure the reporter didn’t know that Hawaii has a separate beach squad. My assumption is that he thinks NCAA beach programs are like what Nebraska does. which is use indoor players during spring and they train with a short beach season of 4 weeks. Cook doesn’t want to have a full beach program. Something might change when he retires or if Jaylen Reyes convinces him otherwise. Reyes was running the beach team last spring
8. Nebraska watched video on Hawsaii prior to arriving in Madison and since. to be fair, some of Van Sickle’s shots are “beachy”. I think Nebraska’s tips are basically ‘beachy.’

They don’t have any respect for Hawaii. Even if Hawaii wins, it’ll be considered a fluke. Their thinking is Hawaii is beneath them. Why should we Wahine fans be shocked at their attitude? Play hard, fight, and hopefully the Wahine move on. That’s all Na Wahine can do. A Hawaii win won’t change their minds. Go ‘Bows!

Have to use that answer as motivation and come out with a little extra fire to their game. Especially the parts talking about playing in Nebraska’s element and about showing UH what a Big 10 block and Big 10 back row look like. Smh, GO BOWS

Not knowing what will happen at tomorrow’s match, I am hoping upon hope that Amber and Sky bring their A-game to show the Big10 what a Hawaii block looks like. Back row? Nebraska has one? I know that Hawaii has one with Rika and Norene leading the way.
