35. Ah Mow said she was taking 14. so with Rasmussen staying, it would have been either Krug or Gong who went. Mentioned before that Krug played against Baylor last year and they might be thinking possible blocking sub, but who knows.

Buzzworthy: Coming into Saturday (9/21), there are only 5 undefeated NCAA D1 women’s volleyball teams left: Pittsburgh (11-0), Memphis (11-0), California (9-0), Hawai’i (9-0), and Baylor (8-0).

Pittsburgh, picked to finish 1st in the 15-team ACC, swept Penn State, which hasn’t happen to PSU at home in non-conference play since 1986. Nit Lions will visit Pittsburgh for a rematch this Sunday. BTW: The city of Pittsburgh, in conjunction with Duquesne University, will host the 2019 D1 Women’s Volleyball Championship.

Memphis, picked to finish last (LAST!) in the 12-team American Athletic Conference (where UCF is the top choice), takes on Southeast Missouri on Saturday.

California, expected to tie for 8th in the 12-team Pac-12, swept St. Mary’s (4-5) in Berkeley; on Saturday, the Gaels of the 10-team WCC, hope to return the favor as they host the Golden Bears in Moraga.

In the 10-team Big 12, it’s all about Texas, which has been chosen as the league’s preseason favorite for 8 consecutive years. But Baylor, picked again to finish 2nd, is entered the buzzworthy conversation since posting that W on the road over Wisconsin.

Missouri vs Baylor: Only 1 RE (reception error?) for each team? Either the stats are incorrect or they serve cream puffs.

Either way, Hawaii has to serve tough.
