There were 50,000 sellouts for the Boise St and Washington games. 49,000 for the Fresno St game. Even 37,700 for a game vs Charleston Southern.
In the Tomey era, prices were cheaper and the cost to attend a game was way less, i assume. Like a i bought a house in H Kai for $128,000 in 1982 and am still in that house.
Now the prices for housing including rents are way higher. Though wages/pay have increased, not enough for many to keep up. That’s the major reason we have the homeless increasing so much.
That’s why you may or will not see the 40,000 in the stands and also due to the cost of attending a game nowadays is high.
