In an interview, Milton said he would wait and see in the spring what kind of offense the new UCF coach will use. I assume if he doesn’t care for it much, he could transfer somewhere.

I think it (Aikman’s purported interest in transferring here) was an urban legend. It had something to do with Hawaii having a solid quarterback in Gregg Tipton. We heard it from a friend, who had heard it from an Uncle who……. well you know it goes. At least that’s the way I recall the story.

43….never heard that story or rumor. I do know that despite transferring from Oklahoma to UCLA, Barry Switzer was quite helpful to get him to a program that emphasized the pass than the previous option team at OU, and he made affirmative arrangements for him to play for Terry Donahue.

40…Yup, you are indeed correct. John Haina, my old neighbor, and former Alii, yes he went to Aiea HS, before transferring to KS, was a large factor in his decision to initially select CAL.
