perhaps the 2 starting DL will play lites-out to make up for their transgression last week and missing the Wyoming game

trying to figure out why UH OC is not calling Unga’s name over the middle on 15+ yards out — he has the height and speed to match the safeties — especially when the safeties are split out to help the CBs cover our receivers

Defensively, Mefi Koloamatangi is the tall 6-5 defensive end. Last game games versus UCLA, he had only 1 tackle. He needs to get it up to 8 tackles a game to make any impact for Hawai’i, in the Colorado State game. He is a valuable member of the team.

Do the Warriors script the first 10-20 offensive plays? It seemed to me that Wyoming was hell bent to stop the run on first down at the beginning of the game, but UH did not start throwing on 1st down right away to counter it.

Hawai’i runs, they’ll probably win. Diocemy can run around the linemen and work the corners. In the open flats for a touchdown. He has that speed. If he gets it going, the lead may be in Hawai’i’s favor +21 by half time on Saturday night. We’ll see.

Both players are 6-4, so they are commanding stature as quarterback. Saturday’s game is a pivotal game. It will prove if Hawai’i can return to the Hawai’i bowl. versus Colorado State. Hawai’i also has “tall” players.

This weeks opponents present a challenge. They are good but how good is the question-still say and believe that if the effort to match the ambition of this team is realized it will be a great game. They are coming off a bye so they have had time to heal and practice but they are on the road and do face the time differential and the heat. They do seem to yield points on defense so that’s the task at hand for the offense-defensively, having a full complete group-hopefully highly motivated should keep us in the game. Can’t give up special teams big plays. Gotta score at least 4 times on offense period. GoWarriors!!!!
