Here’s one reason why, probably, this week’s Warrior Bowl won’t be well attended.

Reading from the UH athletic site:

****The Aloha Stadium Swap Meet will be open during this time**** and fans must pay the $1 per person parking fee to enter the parking lot. Children ages 12 and under are FREE. Entrance to the stadium is FREE for all ages.

“Warrior Bowl” Schedule
1:00 p.m. Stadium Gate Opens (Gate 4 only)
1:00-2:30 p.m. Autograph & Photo Session (south concourse)
3:00 p.m. Scrimmage (fan seating on Makai side)

Last year the autograph session was at 5-630 PM. Game was later, and I’m thinking around 7 p.m.

This year it conflicts with the swap meet. Not too bright thinking by someone IMO. IDK if finding parking is an issue, but the times I’ve gone to the swap meets on a Saturday parking wasn’t easy to come by. Now, can you imagine merging the swap meet people and the ones attending the scrimmage and how there might be a shortage of parking spaces. But the biggest detriment and damage is that the knowledge that fans knowing in advance that the swap meet is taking place the same time as the gates open for the scrimmage, and that will probably deter those people from showing up all together, knowing that it’ll probably be too chaotic out at the stadium, especially with the presence of the swap meet.

One logical explanation for this earlier time would be appreciated.

Another reason is the lack of media attention (so far) compared to last year.
Remembering correctly last year I heard numerous times commercials on the radio, 1420, building up the game. So far this year, not to much.

Well, whatevas about Snyder and Zman….who cares, Snyder has an NFL history for train wrecks and Z is a former QB that likes to run….and the bit about colt’s arm not being strong is a joke, so is campbell’s robo arm….JMO….but the sooner CB gets out of DC the better….bring on sanchez and trade!
