If all three are met, then that will be nearly $5,000 donated to the fund.

I’ve been away so long, I forget already! Well, the section was supposed to be in bold. You know what I mean. 🙁

Very sorry to jump tangentially into the discussion, but just wanted to make a quick announcement to the Tsaiko gang:

I’ve been inspired by Stretch’s success in raising $2,000-plus … so I’ve decided it’s time for me to also bring my A game.

Therefore, here’s my pledge:

If donations to my page reach $1,500 by Monday, Oct. 12, I will wear a ridiculous costume for the race!*

We’ll randomly choose one of my donors (I’ll have one of the Pink Side DLs choose a name randomly), and that donor will get to decide what stupid costume I should wear.

I figure, I can swallow my pride and let you guys make a fool of me for a couple of hours. *shrug* Small sacrifice if we can raise the dollars to take a good hard whack at cancer.

The link to my fundraising page: http://bit.ly/14on7o

From my heart … thanks so much for your attention and support, gang.

*P.S. Costume can be silly but not overly revealing. Sorry, no Slave Leia! 😆

This defense only seems to work if we have the linemen necessary to keep the backers free to make plays. We don’t seem to have the personnel to step the run against a team with La Tech’s size. To me it seems like our best chance is to put 5 big guys across the d-line and hope to plug some of the gaps on the line, and hopefully as the running back looks for a hole, the backers will have time to meet and greet and ball carrier.

We need Quentin Beaver. What happened to him?

I don’t see them improving for a few years at best. McNugget is a joke and his recruiting is not very good from what the Hawaii fans say.

But the game with LA Tech takes the cake. The Warriors were out muscled, physically manhandled (the OL line) and Coach Mack and his staff didn’t seem to do any “adjustment” or were they all confused at what LA Tech was throwing them.

The football magazines had predicted a Warrior finished at 5th place in the WAC. I disagree. More like the cellar. The Warriors showed some promise in the Wash State and Las Vegas game, but were totally manhandled physically by LA Tech. A total disappointment by this Warrior fan….
