ok- back at work- just a fast shout out to all the people who made last night so special. The players said it best when asked why they were playing for Hawaii (and many came from the mainland) … HAWAII IS OUR FAMILY!

It was really cool to see the diversity represented by OUR WARRIORS. From the hobbits (you know who you are) to the thin air breathers, the mighty mini speedsters to the immovable objects, ALL are WARRIORS. ALL are our OHANA. Gentlemen, your AUNTIES and the other fans SALUTE YOU!

Call the coach shows are now at Outrigger Reef Hotel….dont think too many people gonna to show up in Waikiki…..it will be Bobby and Mac and a lot of empty tables…..

gmaHoney, it was great to see you and your friends last night at the Wahine Clinic!

The UH Women’s Football clinic was awesome and informative/entertaining.
It was nice to talk with the coaches and players; need to do this more often! Mahalo to Coach Mack and Heather!

My gang and I had a great time last night.

The Clinic was different from last year, which was a seminar type set-up. This year, we broke out into groups and threw passes to the wide receivers, learned how to secure the ball, learned the footwork and handwork of the defensive line and tried to kick a field goal. Then we got to talk story with Aaron Kia, John Estes, Rocky S and a shy freshman. All those seniors set to grad this fall.

The players were polite and patient with us ladies, high-fiving and saying “good try” and “good job” and seemed genuinely glad to be there. What a great group of guys!

The best was talking story with LizK, Slugger, Lil Mermaid and CindyCenn. Liz was hard to miss with her Tsaikos-LizKauai t-shirt. Nice to finally meet the people behind the blog handles. We plan to attend at least one of the tailgates, probably the Fresno game in October.

Hi ho, off to work I go.
