Florida State was 1 of the 2 ACC schools to vote against the increased exit fee. Coincidentally, 2 ACC schools have been rumored to be talking with the Big 12. But Maryland was the other no vote and I thought some other school was the other Big 12 target.

Florida State is basically saying that they aren’t going to leave the ACC because it is too expensive to leave…but how is it good for the conference they are stuck in to publicly say that they would go to the Big 12 if they didn’t have to pay so many millions to leave?

Florida State was one of two the current 12 Atlantic Coast Conference schools to vote against a measure that called for an increased conference exit fee, according to FSU board of trustees chairman Allan Bense.

Following a spring and summer that was defined by rumors and speculation about FSU potentially debating leaving the ACC, the high cost of the exit fee all but assures that such conversations cease.

“The positive aspect of it is that we are now committed to letting everyone know that we’re going to be ACC brothers together now and forevermore,” FSU coach Leonard Hamilton told the Sentinel on Wednesday.

It is a long NFL season and injuries take a toll on every team’s roster. Hopefully Pollard will get a call later this season.
