Gotta agree that DE Miki Suguturuga is the real deal.

Hopefully Miki will squeeze UH in on an official recruiting trip this coming weekend…….even if it’s a courtesy trip……since he’s still got 1 more to take…..having already been to UVA and Wazzu……and with scheduled trips to Vandy and the Utes next week.

Nice to see Tago and Kalepo working out with the team already. Kalepo definitely looks like he needs to hit the weight program hard though, needs to add a lot of muscle before he is ready compete at D1 level.

On a side note, sad that from all the talent playing in the Polynesian Bowl, that there is only 1 player currently committed to UH (Kesi Ah Hoy).

Guess a .500 season and a bowl win is still not enough to sway the local elite talents.

Interesting to see the baseball guys too. Who knew they worked out on Ching field too?
Looks like the new baseball beat writer is drawing more attention to the baseball guys and program.

I don’t buy he lost the men’s volleyball beat due to his surgery recovery last year, but I would believe a smart man like Dave Matlin would request the best sports beat writer on the island also be assigned to cover UH baseball… one of the higher revenue sports. 😉
