I’ll pass on believing anything he says…

They get tuition scholarships for the semester that they participate in the marching band. Standard members get 1/3 and Drum majors and student staff get full tuition scholarships.

Saban is no dummy. He needed to throw the ball more to keep up with the spread offenses in the SEC like Texas A&M so this year he hired the offensive coordinator, Lane Kiffen, who replaced Norm Chow at USC and almost doubled the offensive production.

So all the NC haters, feel free to blog away and get it out of your system ( unless of couse you want to pony up $750,000).
In other words, get on the bus or get off…. But after this week please stop the bellyaching. Lifes to short.

Let’s Go Bows! Beat Delaware and Duke!

Its hazards are hostile to us few. Its conquest deserves the minimal of all our leadership, and its opportunity for cooperation may never come again before we retire. But why, some say, the status quo? Why choose this as our goal? And they may well ask why climb the smallest mountain? Why, 35 years ago, neglect investments in maintenance and repair? Why does Rice play Hawaii? We choose the status quo. We choose the status quo in this decade and do little more, not because they are hard, but because they are easy, because that goal will serve to organize and measure the minimal of our energies and skills, because that challenge is one that we are willing to accept, one we are unwilling to change, and one which we intend to maintain, and the others, too.

Not quite the cream puff that they may appear to be.

124.

If Coach Chow was to be let go, the UAB head coach would be an interesting name to consider.

Might this HC be interested in UH??, might fit like a glove.
He’s got the resume.
