He is a former coach because he doesn’t know what he is talking about. Let’s have UH play HPU and Chaminade play 10 times each and see how many times they beat UH. Maybe your former coach friend was one of the many scrub coaches at HPU and Chaminade.

acknowledge receipt – beautiful!!! thanks.

announcers mentioned an “illegal pick & roll”, but no call — was it on the other WR who “blocked” the DB?

but, thankful that Clemson won — no fan of Alabama and their coach.

Made me wonder if the officials in the MW just had it wrong since we were flagged for less obvious picks during our games.

The two Clemson touchdowns were similarly run. I give Clemson tons of credit for continuing to run it since there was no penalty being assessed for doing the pick.

I’m just a casual fan so to speak because I live so far away that I have to catch what I can on Youtube, etc. I’ve watched the summer league BB clips this year. I saw Ganot’s recruits in action on the clips. I was dismayed. Here is what I seriously wonder: I wonder if good guys finish last in recruiting. I mean, it is a deceitful game in some ways–selling a program amidst stiff competition. Look at the opposite view, the so called bad guys. Namely Gibb Arnold and, okay way back, Bruce O’Neil. Incredible recruits. They must have promised the world to these top athletes to come to Hawaii–and more. And once they got here the reality may have been different, but such is the recruiting game. I get that Ganot wants to invite scholar athletes who will remain in good standing in the community. I can respect that. But he will not be here long if he becomes the Norm Chow of men’s BB–okay that is a stretch because as we know Chow did have a break out season from the get go. I have another question: How did Gibb Arnold get his recruits to leave on their own fruition once he found better recruits? That was uncanny, one after another. No complaints, just “I’m leaving.” Did he just tell them outright, “You will have no playing time from here on”? Maybe he used his connections to find them a place to transfer to in return for some kind of unspoken silence clause. All to say, I agree with Turfwar’s comments.

Clemson’s winning TD looked like a play the Warriors run with John Ursua.

No fan of Alabama but have disdain for poor officiating. Clear cut no call

I heard that about the Wahine team at the start of several seasons.
