There are recievers at Lawndale, linemen at Inglewood and BIG db’s at Leuzinger, Locke and Fremont High School. South West JC got a FIELD of athletic talent with their NEW stadium straight on down Western and Imperial just less then 8 minutes from the Al Wooten Center.

I got the SAT prep program operating with Washington Prep giving us a classroom as Pete Carrol has his hidden gems on time getting practice and prepared fo the entrance examination as you will see these “MONSTER” freshmen in Hawaii IF he does not redshirt them for next year as SC will be LOADED with talent !

Always a PLEASURE Bighilofan2 as I hope to see you again with the foam helmet and banner cape ! A Classic Kind Sir !

RainbowCliff,

Howzit o fine Master of the hardcourt even in your twilight years. ha ha.
You still got the talent, the keen eye for detail and the motivation to help
develop the youth of your neighborhood. Good for You!

speaking of what you see at the MECCA everyday, but you cannot
speak to those speedy/hefty buggaz about Warriors because maybe a violation, may I ask you if you get Tony Tuioti’s email address? because sir, if you knew Tony’s email, and you knew the names of the ballers/speedy’s high school adviser, or whatever they callz the high school hookups in South Central, Tony could get a jump on his planning schedule.

da reason I’m saying is because we could use the help in spotting talent.
especially da kine dat like play speedy kine smash mouth. 😀 our coaches are looking at Rivals and stuffs. mo betta we concentrate on using help from a Genius like you!

Question: The weather in San Jose does it ever get warm enough to wear shorts and tank top in the afternoon or is it safe to say that long pants has to be worn at all times ?

I know at night that a coat is required. What is the temperature in San Jose from day to night ? Mahalo Mr. Human Spots Wire !

The hot dog is the most popular item for sale at the stadium (boiled and roasted peanuts come in at a close second). Local employees for Centerplate, the hospitality company that manages food service for Aloha Stadium, estimate more than 3,000 hot dogs are sold at each UH football game. One year at the Pro Bowl, they even sold out.

Centerplate’s Dara Barcelona says the “wackiest” food that made it onto stadium menus was an octopus dish, “tako balls.”

“Although a rave in Japan,” Barcelona wrote in an e-mail, “it did not take off at the stadium.”

This would seem like a natural sport for UH, but since UH never rugby scholarships I never checked if other schools did. Oklahoma State gives rugby scholarships and UH does not? This high school on the mainland has its football and rugby teams do the haka before games.

Meat’s latched on to rugby so well, he’s become an All-American at this level and has an offer to play scholarship rugby at Oklahoma State.

“It probably helps our tackling ability in football,” he said. “You have to wrap up when you’re playing rugby. That’s fundamental tackling in football.”

Last fall, Canton’s football team went to Edmond to join in a haka, the traditional dance of New Zealand’s native Maori people, with a local rugby team there. The meeting got the Tigers interested in playing rugby themselves.

But Meat, a standout middle linebacker, thinks it makes the Tigers a tougher outfit. And the haka, which got additional headlines from the University of Hawaii football team, is a signature pregame display for the squad in both sports.

“It’s who we are,” he said.
