We shouldn’t underestimate the desire of some of the kids to want to play in front of family and friends and wear the green of Hawaii. Sure Mariota and Te’o made it big time, but the vast majority of the players that go away would make a bigger name for themselves by staying home.

I’m pretty sure Uluave is set on going to the mainland. If we can keep home Ulu Perry and a couple Kahuku boys those would be the biggest pickups since Kennedy.

Would love to see a few more top tier kids cast their lot with the Warriors. I had info from a good source, close to the program that 4-5 wins this year (2014) would be about what they expected with the talent they had. In retrospect it could have been more with losses coming after solid or at least leading at the half. The defense needs help across the board the offense speed on the outside and some OL. Some of this is now available with a few of the developing players. Just want a solid above average recruiting class…..Go

I was reading some of your commitment!. Why shouldn’t our local be recruited by University of Hawaii?. The kids that’s come to Hawaii to visit the University of Hawaii football program. They look at the University campus, football schedule and most of all things is the fans base!. A lots of kids wants to play with large crowd to watch them play!. But having only 17,000 or less fans support it’s really better to play in the mainland university!. That’s is why lots of local kids goes away from home to play sports somewhere else then Hawaii!. But not for the women volleyball team because they are the best in the university have to show!. Whatever happening in Hawaii sports program good or really bad you all should be blaming for it!. By not supporting your team spirt and pride!

We’ll see what kind of changes Chow makes on his staff. If it stays the same we will be “up sh__ creek”. I dont think Milton will like what he sees if it doesn’t change. He might be thinking the O might morph into something substantial and if it does not might go USA.
