Hmmmm Pro BB is not nearly as exciting as Warrior Football. When do we start!

This is certainly disturbing because it looks like we (#6 seed) play SJSU (#1), the hottest team in the WAC on THURS.

In response to your surrejoinder pertaining to Michelle Wie my comments were only in the context of what Wie could do to improve her chances in the 4th round.

Golf is a fellowship of interpretation that only gets more interesting with every comment.
You make valid observations.
You are correct about her GIR but I also said she used her irons well and her ball striking was good. I said she scrambled well, meaning after she missed the fairways she made incredible iron shots to reach the greens in regulation to maintain a series of pars. However, those scrambles might have been birdies if her T-shots were accurate.
Lost opportunities.

On the 18th she hit far into the right intermediate rough n used a shot to get back on the fairway and then pitched her 3-stroke to within 5′ of the hole. She sunk her 4th for a birdie. It was a great performance for Wie that drew raves.

Now, if Michelle didnt miss the fairway she could have made the green in two and perhaps a chance at an eagle.
She did it the hard way and no one would expect her to make a birdie everytime she misses the fairway.
That is the core of my comment: hit the fairways and Michelle will put herself in a position to run away with this tournament.

Her putting game will come but her biggest improvement in my mind would be to improve her accuracy on the fairways.
BTW, that is the same problem confronting Tiger.
Woods finished 8th at TPC Sawgrass and his accuracy was less than 50% off the T.

A good barometer would be to check Wie’s fairway accuracy % with the tournament average. She is off. That says it all for someone that is tied at 4th. She could be better, way better.
