Garret, post #194, good info.
I hope recruits are looking at their position on the team they are going to and really make a good decision about who the competition is and how much pt they may get. High profile teams will have a lot of “all everything” players so guarantees. In the case of Tepa he should be good to go since he going to a crappy team that needs to change everybody. LOL…
Warriors getting guys who want to be Warriors. As it should be.

Gotta beleive that Keli’ikipi might have to think twice about his decision to decommit. There is currently a log jam at D-Tackle for the Quacksters so it might not be a very good situation for him there. Where as if he were to commit here he would probably be a starter with in the next two years. But I gotta beleive that at least for Wade it might not be a good decision football wise.

other factors in translating talent to success on the field is the quality of COACHING and SYSTEM management…to be fair, MAC needs to still grow into his shoes as headcoach and hopefully improvement in these areas will come in positive doses following his first year.
But recruiting is the first step and to this end our Warrior team is building in a positive direction.
Keeping our fingers crossed for LOI day–great effort by MAC n staff!

i think establishing a reputation as a school that will entertain a good handful of jc’ers actually does us good. our competition for the same is less than going after the blue chip hs kids.

I agree with you both but just kind hard to understand so close to letter of intent day. We will still have one of the best recruiting seasons ever but it still hurts.

no sense get all nuha over this stuff. these kids are the ones who have to live with it for a long time not us. come next week we will forget about all the decoms.

coaches will learn from all this. it is time though to implement an early signing period that is binding.

perhaps some modifications are in order as well. for example, any recruit decommitting within 5 days of nli day will cost the new college one recruit scholarship the following year.
