jiminy: yup I got tickets thru tom for the washington game too. I agree that the seats were better and cheaper than the UH sponsored tickets. some at the time doubted his intentions but just shows what fools they were. tom did an awesome job and I hope I can join in on another road trip again soon. mahalo tom!

Yea…kinda shame on UHAD that a blogger can get better n cheaper seats then the staff there can..
Maybe like the Chicken n Buta…one is committed.. n one is only involved for 40 hours a week n just the government paycheck…

Wonder if sumone called tomorrow for few seats at the rice game the response would be “sorry but we not have yet…have to wait till we get closer to the game”.

Would be same like the lack of merchandise at H Zone…cuz have to wait till the sport starts…??

Mahalo Tom 4 all you n Don do there in CA (n elsewhere)…for looking out for Tsaiko’s n other concerned UH fans…sure is a load of ones mind when planning a trip to ‘follow’ the Warriors during the upcoming season…

I bought tickets that Tom Kitaguchi organized for the game at Washington several years ago. We had about 100 people in our section. It was around the 40-50 yard line way up high, but under cover. It was way, way better than the group tickets that UH organized for fans; those guys sat in the North end zone, in the hot sun, and the closest seats must have been at least 40 yards away from the end zone endline, plus our seats were way cheaper! Tom’s has to get a minimum number of tickets for a group discount; then the school can sell a block of tickets for a discount and Tom can negotiate where the tickets will be, if it is not one of those schools that sell out every game. Way to go Tom!!!
