His college career was filled with injuries, but his numbers as a QB was decent enough to start when he was healthy.

Looks like Chow is taking the direct route and hiring Wynn as the QB coach and not as a GA, similar to what Wittingham did with Brian Johnson. Possible next OC in two years, too?

looks like guys were on it, screwed up and then taken off it.

this seres as a kuleana notice that the players let their teammates down on both sides on the pond…they let down the players that traveled and surely the ones that stayed back and didnt travel felt they wasted a spot that perhaps woldve opened up a spot for one of them to go.

..at least that’s what i got from it.

i think one thing is clear. if chow didnt get a young man a win on the field, he will give him life lessons that he can use to win off the field later on.

Brother, I agree 100% with you regarding “local boys” and “local girls” that go away. God bless them all. I still cheer for them no matter where they go!

Hey all:

Jordan Wynn will be a Graduate Assistant and NOT a full time coach!

Imagine most of their little girl dreams was one day suiting up for one of the Wahine teams.

Made me think there’s more than one side to where or why an athlete ends up where they end up.

There are athletes the home team wants to sign who end up going elsewhere and there are those that want to sign with the home team but don’t get offered. Behind each signee there’s a story, a personal one.

As fans we’ve become too callaous about the recruitment process. We only focus on the athletes that can help us and disregard the ones that can’t. We exult the ones that sign and often times cold shoulder the ones that don’t.

I’ll never disrespect a local kid that comes home to play on a visiting team. That kid has a story to tell why she/he is playing for that team and not the home team.
