There will be behind the scenes action today.

BC said two former NFL HC’s, Mike Martz and Brad Childress, applied but did not make the cut.

He also thinks a decision will be made late this week or early next week.

Many have. It would also mean that he would have to be successful to do so. I think that is what we need now.

Remember, all we the fans get to see is the surface level discussions, rumors, and news clips. We have very little idea on what is going on behind the scenes.

NO NO NO. Too much rage. His players turned on him in San Fran. I wonder why? And these very same players are now part of the #2 seed in the NFL.

Applicants had to have a HC or coordinators experience to survive the cut. Was that the DQ’s for the job?

His must have been a well laid out plan of action with promises to keep much of the staff.

Somehow if that is the case, I just do not see that translating to a huge ground swell of re-interest by the fickled local fan base to rush out and buy tickets. Hopefully, if he is chosen, there is something else buried in that “package” he put forth, such as he would get Chris Naeole to coach O-line and Mike Singletary will come to be D-coordinator as they both really don’t need the money.
