Ford as a youth….I met him again when I attended UH compliments of my dear friend and teamate Chollie Aiu…..I agree he was a piece of work….but then again so am I…Go Warriors. Even though his name was Charlie….we all called him Chollie….a tremendous guy, teamate and football player. He was the only guy I ever met that had stretch marks down his forearms. When Chollie gave you his trademark “punch” he could break your sternum……lets get us a win this week—

BTW, Lane Kiffen can sell his house in about 20 minutes. Property in South Bay, Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, Redonso Beach is a HOT area. When the market crashed prices never dropped.

I’m in Dallas watching my nieces play Volleyball. The one in 8th grade killed it last night. She had the winning kill to win it all last night. The one who is a Sophmore is already being sought after by Coaches. I’ll be sending the to camp this summer with Dave Shoji. Expect to see a Friel girl in the line up. These girls are fantastic ball handlers.

I witnessed both the wins over Punahou and St Louis in ’72. After the Punahou win the Advertiser headline to the story read “Damien 10 Punahou 6 — Honest” (I think that was the score). Goal line stand by Damien clinched it when Mosi ran into a brick wall: Bernard Freitas.

RE: Br. Ford. I liked how he broke up fights: “I get the winner.” They stopped immediately. 🙂
