Have you read Cem Kaner’s books? He is such a great author, I have read all of his books and learned so much from them. I was lucky enough to see him give a presentation a few years ago on his methodology. He is as good a speaker as he is an author. Do you know of any authors of Kaner’s reputation?

Thanks guys, for your effort and heart.

Yes, it was disappointing last night, but give credit to Wisc for a very good defensive plan. Sure looked very much like Boise with the 4 man rush and man coverage on the outside receivers. My hopes are that the coaches will come up with an effective answer for next year. We really miss that big, fast threat on the outside to stretch the defenses. A lot of WAC teams don’t have two shut down corners and a D-line which can pressure with only 4 rushers…the better teams can.

What other Christmas wishes do I have? I surely wish ALL the bloggers out there a safe and most happy holiday season. Through the years, I’ve faithfully echoed Bulla’s signature motto: “Make (great) memories”.

I just took enough off so I can drive safely, then took the car for a spin on the freeway going 70-75mph, letting the rest of it fall off, slowly but surely, and perhaps peeving a few other drivers off as well.

I have a hunch we’ll see Wisconsin back on the island in a few years’ time. I wonder what it is with the likes of USC and Wisconsin seemingly catching us in our ‘down’ years…..or at least that’s the perception I’m getting. Oh well.

On a lighter note, snowfall yesterday in the beltway! Didn’t enjoy spending time scraping it off my windshield and back window, though.

I agree with you regarding the tight end.

ST mentioned it recently.

We had 2 guys who I think could play TE.

a. Tua Mahaley, who was recruited as a WR, but grew too big (but not big enough to be conveted to DE).

b. Earvin Sione, who has ball handling skills as a highschool basketball player.

While they are not “big enough” to be a prototype TE, they certainly can assist the perimeter blocking (better than the smurfs can).

And certainly, they could catch passes, FIVE yards beyond the line of scrimmage !!!

Hopefully, whoever (whomever), is coaching the offense could at least TRY to incorporate a TE, during spring practice. It’s worth a try.
