By the sounds of it, the Aggies had to split up into two groups because the initial charter flight out to Hawaii was cancelled (mechanical problems). They eventually got in but later than expected last night. Just one reason why teams don’t like to travel to play in Hawaii.

The APR. I remember being surprised that Hawaii met the requirements of the successful matriculation of 4-year student/athletes. So many defections: How can? I thought. I wonder if that’s part of the NCAA investigation.

I think that Hawaii fans are pretty mild when it comes to expressing their displeasure with a coach. On the mainland you hear stories of moving vans being parked in front of the coach’s house or trash being thrown on the property by unhappy, rabid fans.

What’s the saying? Where there’s smoke, there’s fire, or is it where there’s fire, there’s smoke? NCAA investigation; Gib Arnold released. I say there’s smoke and fire here, but not in that order. But does it matter? Bottom line, UH Athletics another black eye. I also wonder if this would have happened if Jim Donovan were still AD? Maybe the ‘Wonder Blunder’ wasn’t so bad after all.

If a guy plays for 5 seasons, who would want to be given that old iPad? 🙂
