PolyMom ~ Apologies from the Blogmeister's (#49) table pahtna's who joined me in an all-out attack on the food line in the first wave. I won't give up any names besides mine, but they were not all registered Tsaiko's. I agree with you about the video done by RK, and would like to add that he made some very interesting observations about the players throughout the nite. Corey Paredes had made a slight faux pas as he turned to leave the stage. When he was called on it by RK, the entire room erupted in laughter! There were fan faves and team faves as each of the boys were announced for various awards. Most of them were not prepared to make an acceptance speech, so there were the usual sutters and stammers along with short words of 'thanks.' Bryant Moniz brought his eldest daughter up to the stage with him. It turned out to be a real poignant father/daughter moment as the crowd cheered. The poor guy was called up to the stage at least 3 times. Each time he had to hobble up there with his crutches. Tuff night, good work out. I almost forgot to mention the guest speaker, Jessie Sapolu, was given a real quirky intro by RK. Robert said that as tuff as Jesse was, he let guys like Joe Montana & Steve Young "touch his okole!" The crowd went wild! Enjoyed having dinner at the same table with our Blogmeister,ST. I had to laugh when RK asked for the Warrior Beat Dude to standup and take a bow. We tried to tell him that he was standing! Word on the down escalater was that there will be an important announcement made tomorrow morning...stay tuned. made a very rousing speech that was really meant to inspire the Warrior team that will be fielded in 2012. K State has scored 81 non offensive TDs since 1999, and that is both defensively and by their special teams. ST is something UH needs to work on every year and be good at it.

UH’s defense had some good years, some lean years, what we need to do is play with discipline in alignment and assignment and we will be good nearly every year.
