You guys need to checkout Blessman Taala on OC12 against the Hawaii all stars. Will replay again tomorrow. Kid is beasting at DE causing all kinds of havoc. Hawaii kids with too much firepower offensively but no denying his talents.

Hman I’m guilty of that but I was as happy as everyone else in the Stanley tonight. Was a fun night. Am I convinced otherwise? No, but there are certainly a couple of legit guys on this team no one questions in Purchase and Allen who both went off tonight. Noah has been a no-show for the past month. Will he find his groove now? Hope so. Couldn’t be happier for those guys and the team. Don’t think anyone doubts Ganot’s coaching ability and he kept them in the game despite trailing all night. Am I convinced they will be near the top of the conference at the end of the year because of this showing against a team considered a contender in the Big West? No. Hope they continue this run but if I had to put money I would guess they end up near the bottom. Glad you’re a believer. We need more fans who do.

#27… no need to move other UH sports out that way. Already have facilities on campus. Why would we need to move other sports out there? We already play football at Aloha and not on campus. Anyhoo, very unimportant comment on my part.

UHMB starting to find a “personality”. Maybe a break through game? Great game!

Michigan stadium has a clear view of the entire field — can see all the plays developing when close and look at the “jumbo tron” for plays at the far end — just like any stadium

at the Sugar Bowl — we were 7 rows from the top and players looked like rats running around

NSF, West Oahu is a distinctly different campus. If the stadium is built there, may as well move all athletics to that campus too. In other words, ain’t happening.

Guud Afternoon Tsaikos…Bootiful Day!

UH West Oahu is a blank canvas right now. Vacant parcels all around. You don’t need to mess with underground utilities that might throw a monkey wrench in the development phases. I’m not convinced that the businesses that will occupy the TOD will fare any better than K Mart. Hard to survive if your customers come only once a week. Not to mention the lease rents that will be charged. At UH West Oahu, choo choo train right there. Increase class capacity (4 year degrees). Build student/teacher rental apartments. This creates customer base for businesses. The university will create the “base tenant” for the “Second City” community this area was projected to be. Guarantee Central, Leeward Oahu students will attend, instead for driving to Manoa. The new shopping center recently opened. (Projected to be larger than Ala Moana) City Hall is right down the street. Ko Olina, Walt Disney, Kapolei Shopping Centers etc.
The location is ripe for expansion.
Build it and they will come…..

I like the current site that incorporates the offices, residences, shops etc, but the stadium has to hold 40,000 with inherent design for expansion option. The development has to include a large parking complex that has dedicated/designated parking on game days (no VIP parking) at a flat rate. The only question is how and where to accommodate tailgating. Roof top? But I suppose open fires will violate fire codes. Maybe a dedicated tailgating site with shuttle service to the stadium.
