MW media days are two weeks away, as is pre-season camp. Looking forward to unveiling of new helmet and uniforms. Still think there will be some roster additions and hopefully no subtractions. My opinion is this is the most solid roster at several positions for the past several years with comfortable 2 deep and capable 3’s in some spot. Anxiously await some good news regarding previously unknown OL and DL moving up in depth chart-could be a freshman or experienced roster player. Taylor was a number 2 but preserved for RS. Hope one or two new ones emerge. Mermea could have a shot on DL and again the reported ever so slight return of KT. As the days roll by I get anxious for good news! GoWarriors!!!

Great photos of our Warriors going through the U.S. Army Obstacle course. Don’t know how many Warriors recruits and starters participated in this event, I would suggest to Coach Rolo if this event is repeated next year again, to hold it on the “first day of fall camp” when you have over 100 Warriors in camp. I’m only guessing on the numbers but all the projected starters on both side of the ball will be there the first day of camp, Includes freshmen rookies, and others.

Lotsa transfers in late 60s early 70s. Two schools were free transfer schools Fla State and us….could have been more than that. I bet 20% of teams I played on were transfers. Cal USC Oregon Oregon State SMU Oklahoma BYU AirForce to name a few. Got kicked out or left you could suit up the very next season-Woodcock Stone Richards et al were teammates. Some real characters cycled through for weeks months or entire season.

I remember going to Schofield for cub scouts in the mid 80s. Those obstacles looked like 10 story buildings back then. Was always fun finding m16 shell casings laying around but we couldn’t keep them.
