this season and is undefeated. Must have great linemen. Pity they
are not number one like in the good old days. Ohio State is a sham.

I think it would be a great idea for Hawaii football. If the coaching thing doesn’t work out for Miano at Nevada, that would mean Hawaii could pull off 3 or 4 consecutive wins against Nevada while he is the HC.

However, Miano sounds like a person who is committed to Hawaii football and he seems like someone who is content on living here and not moving away. I wonder though if he will be given another opportunity again to coach at UH as an assistant coach.

He have also never been a head coach at the college level before. Rich’s college coaching days are behind him. He have zero chance at getting the job.

This Nevada job is the “same level” as UH, and pays $500+K.

Go for it, Rich.

Nevada: UCLA quarterbacks coach Marques Tuiasosopo is a candidate at Nevada. Tui has spent the past eight years coaching at Washington, UCLA and USC.

Good times will roll again, somewhere.

3. Will Nevada look for head coaching experience?
The Wolf Pack could look to lower levels for head coaching experience. Names like Eastern Washington’s Beau Baldwin, Youngstown State’s Bo Pelini or Illinois State’s Brock Spack could bring that.
Former Hawaii coach June Jones could also be an option.
