In defense of Coach McMackin…. he was offered that 5 yr contract, he didn’t ask for it, he is entitled to it! Perhaps if the Hawaii political State Representatives would like to save the State some money, perhaps they give up some of their pay?.. A contract is a contract, being a
State volunteer running for office to “Better Help The State”, don’t you think you can give up some of YOUR Income???? Perhaps if you did a better job bringing in businesses and income to the State, (or maybe get a BAILOUT from your adoptive Hawaii son Obama) you wouldn’t be in this positon!… I say Coach M keeps his pay, until you local Government officials give up some of your own!!.. Good Luck Coach!! Go Warriors!

Despite his claims of trying to maintain the RnS philosophy at the beginning of the season, it seems Glanville really went in a different direction as far as Davis is concerned.

Davis had high expectations for the Vikings when he left in June.

“I couldn’t recognize the offense by the end of the year, it had changed so much,” Davis said. “They’ve got some good kids, I think, some talented kids, so let’s get started with something that everyone believes in. But normally when you bring someone new in, they have some thoughts on what and who they want, and obviously that’s the way it’s got to be.”

Davis said he is not interested in replacing Glanville, but is eager to assist in other ways, including helping with the search to find a replacement or working with the next head coach.
