ST, you up yet?

Went to the San Jose Hukilau UH Football Kickoff party last night.
The place was packed. UH Band came in and played a couple of songs including Hawaii Five-O. Ben Jay was there and spoke to the crowd.

Norm Chow came and gave a fiery speech. He and the team are very appreciative of everyone’s support. Lots of ex Hawaii residents there. Good food and fun.

Ready for the UH Football Tailgate. Starts at 10 am.

chow on the other hand…is not a quitter…well in m,y book he should be…he is only bringing discord to the UHAD…N RED INK UP THE GAZOO…

THERE IS FOR ME NO PROBLEM IN QUITTING IN NE ENDEAVOR … if you can look in the mirror in the morning n truthfully say…I gave my best… but my best is not good enough…n take the necessary steps to step down…yes he is a quitter… but he did it with honor n compassion for what he is leaving behind…quitting in the heat of a battle is sumthing else entirely…

in chows case…he is to egotistical…it seems like ne way…to step away gracefully n stop all the ‘damage’ he is doing to the community n the football program…i much more humble n practical person…would be packing his things..or making sum kind of ‘deal’ to leave gracefully…(we all know he has a ailing wife) n no one would fault him 4 that…if hev does not..all the woes the UHA WILL SUFFER IN THE COMING YEARS WILL BE PLACED ON HIS SHOULDERS…AS IT SHOULD BE…

JJ on the other hand…only leaves questions in my mind…what was the real reason the president did not approve his hiring…when the AD there n others there wanted him….could be a phone call from the SMU president ? HE wanted out…why not just let him go…interesting stuff behind the scene…

meanwhile.. the chess pieces are being moved here…n time will tell…
