The beneficiary this time is the Hawaii High School Athletic Association’s SAVE OUR SPORTS Drive.

The bin(s) will be set out no later than 11 am and all the recyclables – including donations brought from home – will be stored during the breakdown before the opening ceremonies at Aloha Stadium. We’ll set the bin back up at the post-game party as well.

We’ll also pick up quantities in excess of 250 containers anywhere on O`ahu on the Sunday following the T-Gate provided that arrangements are made no later than the Friday before since we’ll have to borrow a truck.

On Saturday, October 24, is the BOISE STATE T-Gate. The beneficiary of that HI-5 Drive will be “Serving Up 1,000” Fundraiser honoring Coach Shoji’s 1,000th win. By the, Coach Shoji should have his 1,002nd win the night before.

Here are the recipients at the remaining home games: Saturday, November 7, UTAH STATE – Dole Middle School’s Cross-Country Fall Semester Program; Saturday, November 14, NEW MEXICO STATE – Pacific Islands Athletic Alliance; Saturday, November 28, NAVY – Koa Anuenue Scholarship Program/Men’s Sports other than football; Saturday, December 5, WISCONSIN – Koa Anuenue Scholarship Program/Wahine Sports other than volleyball. The T-Gate recipient for the Sheraton Hawai`i Bowl will be announced after the regular season.

Again, ALL of the redemption fees will be made on behalf of the Tsai-kos & will be sent to the designated recipients within 48 – 72 hours of each T-Gate.

NOTE: We’re coordinating a major recycling drive at three different sites in Windward O`ahu on the morning of October 24 to benefit the after-school sports programs at Castle, Kalaheo and Kailua High Schools coordinated in part by the Hawaii High School Athletic Association.

More details to come, but please encourage your friends, co-workers, relatives, etc., who live in Waimanalo, Kailua, Kane`ohe & Kahalu`u to support the event. by saving their HI-5 cans & bottles. Our goal is to collect 60,000 containers in three hours at the three sites combined.

Mahalo in advance for supporting these youth and UH athletic programs.

they also sell the Schwinn Airdyne. If you wanna ask her about that one. But the recommendation, because its more compact, is the
