Bruddha, it was like a dribbling, passing and shooting clinic.

Some of my ohana, lived on Alexander Street by the old Lau Store (also around the block from Obama and Waipa Parker of KS fame) and use to take me to HS games. Damn the sole was smooth, played both inside and outside, and could shoot like he an Army marksman—he was uber impressive, and pretty underrated from the perspective of local HS lore.

Back in the day the best 9 ball pool shooter I saw was this guy named “Bing”. I think he had to spot just about everybody to get a money game in Hawaii. The next closest guy was a guy named “Pedep” or something like that. I this k he was either from Wahiawa or Waipahu. “Aku” was another terrific shooter.
