I had a feeling that our guy would miss one of the two free throws. Winners make those shots. We’re not there yet. If the team cannot be counted on to make free throws in critical points in the game, we cannot win big games in big moments.

The point guards are better than last year but they dribble too much. Maybe the rest of the team is simply standing and not executing the offense or everyone thinks he is “Chris Paul”.

I also believe that boxing out is a lost technique. Everyone (both teams) simple stand straight up. The days of Dave Cowens, Moses Malone, Wes Unseld and Bill Walton are simply memories when if comes to that piece.

Army: Sources tell us that *** Jeff Monken *** will be Army’s next head coach. Monken has served as the head coach at Georgia Southern since November of 2009, compiling a 38-16 record. Army beat writer Sal Interdonato says that the details of the contract are being worked out but official word of the hire may not come until Thursday or Friday (holiday week).

Georgia Southern had that huge upset over Florida.
