Are those Hale Aloha dorms still the same? I’m just glad my dorm room was mauka facing so I didn’t have the afternoon sun roasting my room in the PM. 5th floor Ilima tower was where it’s at during 2000-1

It’s usually done at house parties/frat parties, so there’s not many people with power would ever notice or care.

Remember the movie Hoop Dreams?

Wasn’t there a top college basketball recruit on his visit that had a welcoming banner with a bunch of sorority chicks holding it during this past year that made sportscenter?

The athletes could be housed in Hale Aloha’s (S)mokihana Dormitory.

The NCAA will target any program that’s not a major moneymaker for them or one that threatens the traditional powers. Anytime there’s allegations about a SEC team, somehow the school in question almost always gets off the hook, unless there’s so much evidence there’s no way to skate around it, ala Ohio St tattoo issue.

Recently, the Cam Newton allegations at Auburn go completely unscathed. Urban Meyer’s renegade prison program at Florida goes completely untouched. The NCAA had no problems going after Boise St. for minor infractions and of course Miami, the NCAA’s most favorite target since the 1980’s Jimmy Johnson/Dennis Erickson days where they turned the NCAA football on its head with their antics and whooping the traditional powers. I think the NCAA wanted to nail Johnny football so bad, but lacked the evidence to seriously penalize him, plus Johnny’s family has the money to take them to court had they done so without proper evidence.
