He is currently a practicing attorney in Phoenix, but he has done stints at ASU and UCLA. It would be nice to have some Pac12 experience. He could also open up pipelines in AZ and SoCal.

I’m not certain on Lempa’s salary here, but I am thinking it was between 170-low 200s (anyone able to confirm or dispute that??) Ikaika is making 280K, at present.

My guess, is that if UH could get in the low 200s (200-235K) , it would still be compelling…

Has great ties for recruiting in the NW, has been a DC three times as well as special teams coordinator. He is seasoned, but still in his early 40s, and fits the mode of a Rolo assistant.
