jeezy: to be honest, people probably aren’t upset at you for expressing your opinion. I express my opinion and it doesn’t seem like people are mad at me. It’s the way in which you express it, including acting like an expert/know it all in all things football, down to detailed player evaluations, but then admitting that you can’t coach.

tone and presentation and credibility of the speaker is important for whoever your audience is. Just because you may be “right” doesn’t necessarily make you right. That’s probably what people are responding to.

Morning Tsaikos!
Sorry for starting an uproar this morning. This site has become too serious and I long for the “old” days where we’d say our frustrations after a loss or gloat after a win and move on to what’s for lunch or when’s the next cattle call. Now we linger on the same issues about what’s wrong with the coaches or players even after win.

Well fortunately for me, I don’t need fans approval to state an opinion… This is a blog. I don’t rip players personally saying they suck. Coaches get paid enough to know whey they signed up for. So yes, I will rip a coach for making bad decisions. So be it. I’m sure every one on this blog has friends who complain. I see it everywhere. People can say what they want, but college football is a business period. It cost $50 per ticket to attend a game. So whats the difference if a Yelper goes to a restaurant where it cost $50 a head and complained about the food they got? Because Norm Chow is a legend or something?

Just funny how some fans only want to hear “positive thoughts” even though their football team continues to make the same mistakes over and over and over, year after year. If you point out anything negative, you’re an arm chair QB. If you predict a win every single week, then you are the man!
