RESOLUTION 09-313 – OPPOSING LEGALIZED GAMBLING. Urging the Hawaii State Legislature to oppose legalized gambling
has been introduced. It will be heard at the next meeting of the Executive Matters and Legal Affairs Committee of the Honolulu City Council at its next meeting at 1 pm, Wednesday, November 4, in the Councill Committee Meeting Room, Honolulu Hale/Second Floor.

We’re going to listen to the football game on the radio tomorrow while taking care of stuff around the house. If it looks like it might be a close one, we’ll head on over to Boardrider’s for lunch and the last quarter.

Interesting basketball game tonight – I was definitely impressed with some of the things I saw – but the team and the coaches have a long way to go before proving the pre-season bottom-dweller predictions wrong.
