Common comment was that “There was nothing much to do in either town.” You had to jump in someone’s car to drive to either Portland or Spokane for anything to see or do. They also mentioned the constant smell of “a farm” in those towns. Selection of “ethnic” food is sorely lacking in the supermarkets up there. After pau school up there, you still gotta come back home to look for a job, if you decide to do so.

On another issue, I believe this is the first time since Hawaii football began that we have only one local kid committed. The rest show more love to mainland schools than their State University. I love the incoming commits from the mainland, Samoa and Australia because in their comments they have shown more love for Hawaii and our Warrior football team. Welcome to Hawaii
