The pounding rains really put a damper on the neighbors’ fireworks – harharhar. No need to hose down the roofs tonight!!

Niteall – lots of grunge work to do over the next four days clearing out STUFF accumulated over the past three decades. Hope to be able to eat something later on today, but it’s too early to tell if my estomago can handle anyhthing besides weak tea. Curses on you, Starbucks. What a terrible way to start the New Year.

oh yeah, Happy ’09 to all of you. i know its an hour late, but gotta clean up and then wish all the neighbors happy new year. gotta take the traditional shot of whatever with him. then gotta shower and get all the gunpowder out of your hair. then gotta wake up in the morning to see what you missed cleaning up the night before. all just in time to sit on the couch and watch football all day long.

ah, new years. oh yeah, somehow gotta think of resolutions and ways to somehow keep them.
