I’m very interested in this matter and I myself do alot of research as well. Either way it was a well thoughtout and nice read so I figured I would leave you a comment.

Age is not as important as playing experience in most positions; however, the quarterback is not only the team leader but also the one position that the fans adore. Let’s get Colt out to the West Coast where his natural fan base could be developed – otherwise, wouldn’t it be fantabuous if somehow the Miami coaching staff could somehow figure out a way to use him.

What’s happening here is why it’/s so incredibly important for even highly-talented athletes in every sport look beyond their playing days and figure out how they’re going to get through the rest of their lives both financially and spiritually.

…and often you have to be in the right place(team) at the right time(when they need your postion) all the while being observed/judged/scrutinized by the right eyes (coach).

so many potentially great ones never get their chance.

i don’t think so.
his arm is “young” having not thrown much in two years.

…and after all didn’t kurt warner have his breakout year in the nfl when he was 28 years old.

He made the team I think, according to the other paper.

If he has the opportunity and really lights it up in pre-season and someone takes a chance on him, he could have a long career that actually starts at a “young 27” as he has not had the same level of wear and tear that those tossed in and banged up “27 year olds” would have had. And, at 27 there is something to be said about maturity.

Don’t count him out just yet. Let’s see what the new season brings forth and go from there.
