You also make some very good points. I understand that we can’t “hide” our top recruits. And point well taken regarding Makaula, he would have been a project at DE anyway. But cases like Nobriga’s and Tepa’s really bug me. Nobody was really hard after them until after they committed to us. And if Lopati had flipped too it would have been devastating. IMHO any decommit hurts a smaller school like us much worse than it does the big boys. Not too sure about your “package deal” theory either as we ended up losing two of the three that we thought we were going to get from Long Beach Poly. I do think that your point about starting early and building relationships is valid, thats why I’m glad we’re on young Mr. Koehler so early. Its really our only chance with somebody like him, to build a relationship and hope it holds up when the big boys come calling later on.

When I was in Amsterdam, they have stores that sell different types of weed. I go into check it out and seen that they have orange flavored hemp candy. I bought a bunch to bring back for my friends. One of my co-workers tried the candy and told me he was buzzing. Needless to say, he is always dizzy and it wasn’t the candy.

TOM ~ Here is something to help you relax until you can get your next batch of Wowee Maui candy bars harvested.

I was golfing a few years back somewhere near Moline, Illinois next to a corn field. When we got to a tee box, there was lots of hemp plants within the corn field. Two of the guys I was golfing with (from the Big Island) went nuts. Forget golf, they ran into the fields. They were taking pictures with the plants and breaking off branches to decorate their golf cart. It was pretty hilarious.
