Colorado State is a good example of how a team can be turned around with a coaching change in almost no time. In 2009-2011 they had three consecutive 3 win seasons– that is as bad as Chow. Today, Colorado State is experiencing sellouts at their stadium. When we hired Chow, CSU hired a head coach who was the offensive coordinator at Alabama during two national championships. In his first year, MCelwein had only 4 wins (including a blowout over us in a battle of first year coaches). In his second year, CSU was bowl eligible, this year CSU is 8-1 and a contender for the MWC championship.

It wouldn’t be wise in my opinion to play reily and burn his redshirt now. who knows maybe Woolsey will have the light turn on cuz it seems to be flickering lol

@arcumfortis I agree it’s getting tougher an tougher to watch. I’ll keep cheering on but it’s getting harder an harder to stay optimistic. I hope to see improvement but that hope has been their since Chow started here..

I believe Ikaika Woosley played one of his better games this past week. He was under duress all night and stood tall and stepped up in the pocket. He even took off and ran at appropriate times. Still needs work, but a lot of improvement in my opinion, yet people with tunnel vision were still calling for the Freshman to come in???

One Season – very funny…I’m not sure how long, but a Head Coach needs 100% SUPPORT for how ever many years that is.

#49 Just as an FYI, I never miss a game. But it has become an increasingly painful experience. I think my pain tolerance might be higher than some because the stadium is pretty empty these days. I feel for the players and the coaches. It’s even hard for me to accept this team is not going to turn it around. But at some point one has to accept the reality of the situation and leave the chickens and eggs to the farmers.

I understand that where you’re coming from…you’re looking at the Wins & Losses. I ask that you look deeper…the character, the fight, the attitude! Nothing done right happens overnight.

We’ve witnessed a lot of things that is not normal, but happened because it was a once in a lifetime occurrence, which we will likely not see again (i.e. the housing boom, June Jones turn around…etc.).

In REALITY, things take time and you have to look at the CORE, the FOUNDATION, and have vision of the FUTURE. Changing Foundations only sets you back and initially causes more unstable ground.

I never believed a successful Division I Football Program could be properly built in 3 years…especially with people calling for your job in 2! How can a Head Coach recruit for the future if people are saying there is no future? We ALL know you need good recruits (players) to Win. How does he do this when he’s put behind the eight ball?
