I didn’t boo, but am 100% sure the booing I heard was not directed at the players. It was due to the offensive play calling just before the end of the first half: 4th down, let critical seconds slip away, finally call a time out, then punt the ball away.

I too was very gratified to see old time Rainbow Warrior Al Noga trying to encourage and inspire the team the whole time during the game with his enthusiasm and never say die attitude. He definitely fit the bill as an honorary captain. Thank you Al for your efforts!!

PS. I admit booing… when the QB was changed… because I though Schroeder should have been allowed to finish what he started. He was wonderful to watch all night… a leader. Our true starter… who laid it all out all night long and morphed himself into what the team needed as best he could… That kind of heart needs to be believed in and trusted by the powers that be… and not diluted.

Also i appreciate the efforts from ben jay in wanting to build up the program and im glad he is planning but you cant expect fans to be patient when we are winless in football. I’m glad this season we have been more competitive this year and in a weird way this season is easier for me to digest then last years season oddly. I love our players never say die attitude, i love the fact they compete to the end and have shown up in the 4th quarter, I love the fact Chow and Company are RECRUITING like we are a big time program going after any recruit, I love the fact chow opened up the playcalling, I love the fact he put the names on the jersey again. But we are still winless and there is no excuse for that.

It was heart wrenching to watch last nights loss. I really feel for the players and the students. The booing last night was something I had not heard from the fans in a long time. I felt people were upset at the coaching, still not a good thing to hear home crowd booing directed at home team. People are frustrated, I understand that. I support the team and hope the fans will continue to come out and cheer for UH. Go Bows!

I agree with you Kev-1 on mostly everything you said

I do think though even though Sean Schroder has his on/off moments i think he has moved us more better and it seems like he has played some solid football with some nicely placed deep passes but he also has been bailed out by our receivers on more than a few plays. I like your assessment of this team though because i think you hit the nail right on the head with that statement.

St juste gets a 75 yard return then we fumble the ball and they return it for a TD.

Also 2 yards rushing at halftime while they had 160 yards rushing.

1420 was crystal clear for me last night in the stadium.

Ppj2: agree with your questioning the logic with sending St Juste up the middle. His strength is his vision and acceleration in cutting up field on plays that go wide. 3-5 more yards per rushing play would take a lot of pressure and reduce the number of drive killing 3rd and longs.
