Meaning….players that want to play for him and his system. Because it is certainly apparent that this current crew does not. No matter what adjustments or new plays he puts forth, same devastating (non) results. Teams on seemingly “down” years like Boise racks up 35 by halftime. Junk teams like Colorado State look like champs. All opposing teams highlights come at the expense of UH. This Chow era can’t end soon enough.

Sean Shigematsu was bad last year, bad this year, bad again vs Boise in another dismal effort to keep Hawai’i QBs clean. If Shigematsu can’t protect any better than he has (even holding penalties are better than untouched sacks resulting in turnovers), they’ll be suiting up Ikaika before the season ends. It’s a miracle no one’s gotten hurt.
