Maybe the advent of social media and the 24/7 cycle of recording every event known to mankind has created a revision what coaching looks like on a retail level.

Long story short, spending 60-70 hours a week together, in a very product oriented profession will create events we don’t see at our regular job. That said, by and large, this is not a story, and happens on almost every D1 program…..move on along folks.

If you check rosters and stats UCD is big and talented even though the record does not appear to show it. Look at the schedules of the MW counterparts. Nevad won 31-17 in their home opener against UCD with only 11 points in the 2nd half. The wild expectations to totally demolish them is the desire of the uninformed. 10 points scored by UCD fall into the category of garbage points assisted by a turnover all with 3 minutes to go. It is a 20 point win a “W” when many said it would not be likely to be 2-1. Before you set high expectations and find fault do your homework. Regardless of their record UCD will be judged as a better opponent than a few teams we face. Good win happy for the Coaches team and the true Warriors fans!!!!! GO WARRIORS!!!!! Addendum……it was 47-17 with the game totally out of reach with 3 min to go-

However, not a worthy game to be praised since UC Davis is not a fair match up or any better. But, nonetheless a game to work on the positives and negatives. I’m really nervous when it comes to Whittek. He’s got am arm that’s no doubt but his mechanics are off and mobility is stagnant. I cringe everytime they snap the ball. He just sits in the pocket waiting to get smashed. Wth? What happen to his legs. Did it get left at USC? Well, I’m thankful he didn’t get hurt. But, if he keeps playing like that I don’t think it will end good for the team. You know somethings wrong when you take 4 quaterbacks on the road. Stubblefield to probably the best all around receiver recruited but due to injury and lack of time on the field will question how he plays during the regular season. We already know what Kemp can and cannot do. Not too impressed with him, no speed, agility, or not even a good route runner. Pedroza? Nothing to say. Ewaliko? Not quite sure. Speed is not the only factor as a receiver. Running precise routes, reading the defense, knowing your plays, getting seperation, the list goes on as a receiver. Got to be a technician on the field. Bottom line. That is why a receiver position is called a skilled position. They have to be all that. Great eyes, hands, and feet. A package. Can’t just be tall, have speed, or great catching ability. Total package needed to get the job done.

Getting Ewaliko on the field…is a must…like having a Chad Owens n only using him on punts n kickoffs…both are explosive in their own way…

Coaches demeanor is not good…he has friends…n if they become coaches n work closely with him…at sum point…will not last…how many of his “original coaches” are still with him ? His coaching personality as such is n was in question by Donovan…who overlooked him for sumone else…when you work for sumone for 27 years… n yet is still passed over to take the helm at BYU…should have ben a giant red flag…sum saw n others did not….or refused to see it…u can’t change the spots on a Dalmatian to squares…he is what he is… just accept his big drama all the time as fans of the program…n hope the best for players n coaches always…

I can agree with the “Price is Right” reasoning– but then, they do not require exact prices to win. 🙂
Consistent with “exact score” needed, being over or under on either score does not win…. so “closest” I would interpret as smallest differences to the actual score of both teams, whether over or under. I believe in math that’s called the absolute difference (?).

Anyway, for the Wisconsin game…and all others, I will make two score listings in ascending order by the favored team. Makes it easier to find the exact score and/or determine who was the closest….

Tsai-kos Guess the Score
Scores will accepted until noon on game day..
Exact score to win prize, if any.
