I couldnt find too much other information and facts on this posting, so it was wonderful to discover this one. I will probably end up being returning to look at some other articles that you have written another time.

For what he did for the program and his record. No question, as Coach Murakami would say! Hey, common sense!

I say put the 2007 undefeated Warriors – 12-0 and the BSC team that went to the Sugar Bowl in right now. Also, put Colt Brennan in right now too. Nobody would question that. Nobody. Come On, Man! Your rules are too rigid. Many times, people get in after they are dead. Some good does that do for the honoree!!!! We should celebrate the honoree(s) while they are still living. Wouldn’t that be more meaninful. What a novel idea! Sometimes, common sense should prevail. Oh, sorry, commen sense isn’t allowed!!! Boing!

I proposoe Keith Amemiya take a look at this and if he can do anything about it. He’s a man of action who gets things done.

Well, in 2011 Euless Trinity once again has a lot of high-quality football recruits…it would be nice for UH to get a pipeline there with all the Polynesian players at that school.

This list of the top 50 recruits in the Dallas Fort-Worth area includes:
RB Tevin Williams (rated #36 in the DFW region)
WR Brandon Carter (#17)
TE Chris Barnett (#21)
LB Jonathan Yenga (#39)

Recruiting in Texas goes *really* early, so if UH is interested they will have to make their evaluations (I’m sure that they took note of the Trinity players when they were out there) and offer early. There are a number of 2011 recruits on this list that have *already* made their commitments! Every school in Texas will have at least 1 Junior Day this month, with some like Texas having 2 this month, so the offers and commits may have been already done a month from now.

I’ve been wrong a lot lately…before it used to be only once a year! LOL But, I thought Mel was going to stay because of his family roots and S&Q clinics. But, I guess doubling his salary and being able to do more things for his family, and rejoining JJ was attractive enough to go through the trials of relocating.

Good luck to you, Mel!!! Gonna miss you!

You’re talking about Hiram’s bb ability, W-Doc talks about his personality characteristics, and Nash’s comment was about Hiram’s contribution to the team relative to any other point guard. Three different things. Objectively, what Nash said is probably correct. Even with a bum shoulder, Hiram is still better than the other pg’s…sad. When Hiram goes out, the team goes from bad to worse and there’s no hope at all.

You and W-Doc can chose to argue this, but it’s tough when you’re talking guavas and pineapples.

PB, hope you and family are doing well. What did you think of that marine who came out for walk on tryouts and will be invited to the team next year? Makes you think, doesn’t it? hehehehe

I saw Hiram play in person many a times in Sacramento when he played at Oak Ridge High and I’ve been to a couple UH games. I used to help Coach at Cordova High and playing against him, I never thought he was D1 material. Coach Nash acts like Hiram is the best player he has and saying things like he needs him on the floor to have a chance at winning??? Wow, really what is that saying about the rest of the guys on the team? I mean if Hiram is the best you got than yup I know why there record is the way it is. He’s injured, banged up, blah blah blah, then let him get healthy and play someone else. This just shows me Coach Nash has no faith in players that he himself recruited to the team…sad. Besides the point guard has the ball in his hands at all times, he’s the leader that directs the offense, gets things going. If Hiram was really playing well and consistently than UH wouldn’t be where its at continuously losing. Am I saying Hiram is only to blame, no there are 5 guys on the court, but Coach is, then again, the point guard is the Coach on the court. He can’t create, suspect jumper, suspect free throws, gets beat on defense alot, I mean seriously… Like RainbowCliff said, they lack true D1 talent on this team…especially at point guard.

Riley Wallace hasn’t been gone long enough and Dave Shoji is still working for UH. Only those who die can be inducted before the usual minimum.

Pauoa Boy – why the cracks about Hiram Thompson? Is he a superstar player – no – but he generally plays well and consistently when not dealing with physical injuries – except at the free throw line. Obviously, you haven’t watched him play in person so you don’t get a chance to see him interact with his teammates on and off the court. K-5’s television coverage is not the greatest.

Yes, I’m frustrated, but I would never turn my back on these student athletes. It’s definitely time to re-evaluate the entire program and its coaching leadership,

Still cannot read without a magnifying glass, but I cannot take any more time off from work. Time to get dressed and head into town. Have a great day.
