Purely from a marketing standpoint, now is not the time to stop doing the Hana or aka. One thing June Jones did was brand this team on a national scale. ESPN loves showing clips of our Warriors doing their pregame war chant. If we lose this, we will lose market share.

Mahalos to the many contributors for their practice reports! I’m dealing with the age old dilemma…is the offense not looking good because of the abilities of the defense or are they just not gelling yet…or visa versa. Or is it a little of both. Guess we’ll really find out when the lights go on.

The only thing that upset me when we were in Hilo was the Hilo Hawaiian Hotel did not have wireless wifi. A 3rd party provided rented internet service through a data port which was fine…but who carries around a hard wire connector anymore?!! For 2 days I used my laptop as a paper weight LOL

Betty and I were in Hilo for a Friday-Sat fast pitch softball tournament with Hilo, Kona, Kauai, and Oahu…young guys and makule. We can’t say enough about the hospitality, aloha, and fuuud that the local folks put on display. Great folks putting on a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Games went on all day and ended with a massive and ono dinner at the pavilion before we dragged our tired bodies back to the hotel. On Sat morning, Betty and I got up early and headed down to the farmers’ market where we enjoyed walking around and picking up some delicious breakfast. I made it a point to travel by your office on our way back to the park. Betty was duly impressed when I pointed and said, “Big Hilo works there!” Thank you! Thank you for being the spear point for bicycles!
