Great article on Billy Ray, to the point. For the record, he chose to stay in Hawaii because of his family, his ohana. He wanted to play in front of them and for the state of Hawaii. I personally know this because I was blessed to walk him through his recruiting process and he had numerous offers before him.

On this day of Thanksgiving, Billy Ray is blessed to have a strong family, and a family like all of ours that goes through trials and tribulations, struggles and challenges…but at the end of the day as the sun sets…..they are still family. THAT is what UH Warrior Football and even The Tsaikos are all about…..through it all, at the end of the day, we are still family.

God-gratulations to Billy Ray and his ohana; it’s not about how you came into the program at Manoa, it’s about how you are leaving…..head high, chest out, and proud to be a Warrior.

Blessings to each and every Tsaiko, both the normal and the challenged, we are all in this thing called ‘life’ together….make memories, make memories, make memories……..

Don’t ever recall so many long TD passes before……like this season……ever……not even when in the RnS offense.

But then again……never had as many deep threats at WR (Gant, Stutzmann, Kirkwood) like this season…….ever.

Busy time of the year for us all, to be sure. Tried to slow down a bit to… well… who am I kidding? It gets worse during this time of the year! With that in mind, here’s to wishing you all a safe Thanksgiving weekend. As Kazz reminded us on facebook, it’s time to give thanks for what we have… and then go fo’ broke with reckless abandon in trying to acquire things over the weekend in a most greedy, selfish, and totally inhospitable manner… while maybe smiling at someone in the process… not because they deserve it, but moreso because you got the last of whatever it was that they were looking for too.
