I hope they take in to account U.S. citizens living abroad. Many times U.S. websites will block IPs from different countries and U.S. citizens living abroad can’t get into U.S. websites.

Would I be breaking the law then by using a proxy?

KITV had a good shot of the scrum which caused the injury. They are trying to impress the coaches with their grit and determination. This end result was poor.

What a shame to get inured because a blocking drill got out of hand. The coach was blowing the whistle repeatedly to end the drill, but both players decided to re-engage and it turned into a mini-brawl. Result? Injury. No good.

lessee…the Warrior Beat and other blogs are Star-Advertiser public web sites…

Changing your IP address or using proxy servers to access public websites you’ve been forbidden to visit is a violation of the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act (CFAA), a judge ruled Friday in a case involving Craigslist and 3taps.

The legal issue is similar to one in the Aaron Swartz case, in which there was debate over whether Swartz “had committed an unauthorized access under the CFAA when he changed his IP address to circumvent IP address blocking imposed by system administrators trying to keep Swartz off the network,”….

Interesting arguments in both cases regarding IP blocking. The full article did not describe the penalties of the CFAA. Probably later. But I guess the legal precedence has now been set.

Heard from Norm Chow tonight, Kennedy Tulimasaeli’i’s knee injury is Grade-2 MCL, out 2-3 weeks and NOT the entire season.

but, the bottom line is that they do fork out a lot for marketing, fuel, maintenance, payroll, benefits, and did i mention fuel cost.

the reason, to me, is that the feds give the airlines a tax break here and there. less more airlines close their doors due to the aforementioned cost factors.

the bottom line is simple, the airlines bottom line is fragile. we, the nation, depend so much on the airlines to conduct commerce, shipping of goods, etc. vacationing is probably the smallest reason why we could not exist as a nation with the airlines.

look at hawaii, when aloha air went down it caught many be surprise. we all felt the impact. travel became a tight issue.

now, suppose hawaiian air went down abruptly?

what would happen to our island state?

…nuff said.
