Thanks for the questions, some were harder to see that others but heres my observations –

On the QB accuaracy drill it started out with campbell and brennan hitting there first couple with collins and daniels struggling, campbell fell off a bit in the end and collins did a little bit better, daniels only hit one. But brennan easily was the best at this drill, no surprise, we all know hes extremely accurate the question is can he read a defense and deliver the deep ball –

In QB-TE drills campbell and brennan were the two who shown in the drill, campbell overthrew his first pass but after that he constantly got it to cooley, brennan seems to once again be trying to show off for the number 2 spot, he was putting some extra heat on the ball when throwing to yoder, he looked good doing it though. Collins showed that he needs to work on his touch and placement, and daniels, throwing to robert agnone who isnt that fast, either overthrew or threw it behind him a lot. –

Interesting turn of events, Eddie williams is in pads but playing second team fullback is marcus mason, i dont know if this is because the team doesnt think williams is ready to be on the field or if this is something mason wanted to do to get more PT -In WR drills Keith Eloi was running a deep corner but the coach put it high and over the wrong shoulder, eloi adjust and reaches up with one hand and snags it. great catch –

In a drill where the defense is busy so the coaches put back up offensive players on defense, the star of this drill was probably colt brennan, whether getting into fake fights with chris cooley or blitzing in the backfield, he could probably play safety(just a joke coltist) –

One on one drills with the Lines, orakpo against samuels, first play samuels holds so they reset, second play orakpo rushes at samuel like a bull rush but last second does a spin to the inside almost seamlessly. Jeremy Jarmon against mike williams, jarmon rushes at williams and bull rushes him to get to the QB. (dont read into this to much though, the defensive player is given a bunch of open space and 1 on 1 matchups making there jobs much easier) -11-11, Orakpo at RE rushes on a rollout, when samuels goes to block him orakpo knocks his hands away with enough force to knock him down, campbell gets the pass off on time though. –

Collins attempts to hand off to alridge on a short yardage situation but alridge fumbles the hand off, Sherman smith yells, “CUT HIS AS.S” -Goal Line drills, campbell drops back and sees open space, he takes off for the easy touch down run, Next play throws a fade to Marco Mitchell over dough dutch, TD –

After a couple of runs Collins gets in with the second team, like all of practice he struggles in the drill, Enough so that he is actually BENCHED for colt brennan, i at first thought it might have been the third team coming in but no defensive players left and no offensive players left, only collins. –

First play for brennan, he drops back and sees nobody open, he tries to run but gets “tackled” for no gain, Second play drops back and throws to fred davis in the flat for a TD Play of the Day –

Keith Elois catch, sure there were no defenders but that was one hell of a catch And to those who were wondering, yes i do think the second QB race just got a lot closer

“Colt Brennan had a very nice TD during goal line sets, selling the handoff and then tossing the ball to a wide-open Ladell Betts.”
