The breaking news is good for once – the guitars have been found.

The Clapton/Winwood show was incredible. Turned up the volume so loud that DrDoc shut the windows so the neighbors wouldn’t complain. Glad to see that The Old Futs Brigade have something more in common than just UH sports.

We get the diagnosis tomorrow morning on my desktop – a Dell whose warranty expired on May 31 and went black on June 12.

Unfortunately, we had to take $987 on Friday from my Mac NoteBook savings fund to repair our car – safety inspection issues – leaving us with just $63.

If the Dell cannot be repaired for under $200, then I am going to need some help in finding a used PC to buy which can carry me through the next 10 months while saving up again for the Mac. If you have any suggestions, please let me know.

Enjoyed the post about texting – I’ve never sent one because it’s too much trouble doing the inputting with a non-qwerty keyboard. Furthermore, it never crossed my mind to check the cell’s in-box until about six weeks ago. I had over 100 messages – and not all of them were from AT&T.

We’re in the process of transfering some 500+ hours of video and audio in seven different formats to CDs and DVDs. Unfortunately, some of the tapes have dissolved.

Anyone up for a Miniature Golf Tournament on the Fourth of July. BTW – there will be no public fireworks in Windward O`ahu that evening.. BayFest has been moved to August and the Kailua fireworks show is probably going to be snuffed out because there’s no $$$.
