I will be attending 4 away games and am just happy to get in stadium regardless of seats. I am of the opinion that whatever happens Dave Marlin has one clear focus-do what’s best for the program overall. Said it before and one more time-I would be gettin my tix now if I could. GoWarriors!!!

I would think that the stadium clean-up is a cost that gets negotiated with the Stadium Authority, but UH Athletics should at least be able to quantify how much they think they will save by closing off part of the stadium. I agree that forcing season ticket holders to move and pay more is not wise, and probably a good way to boost pay per view sales. Of course, anyone interested in replacing Aloha Stadium with a smaller one would have a vested interest in artificially inflating the clean up costs to keep seats empty and boost the case for their mall/condo/football stadium/hotel business model for the site.

I was offered my old seats for MVB when they reopened the upper level at the SSC, but I declined. I enjoy “encouraging” the opposing players and the refs (first row, behind the scorer). IIRC, I was charged the PSC since there were seats in the lower bowl that weren’t subject to the PSC, but wasn’t charged for changing seats.
